Bria Skonberg

Bria Skonberg is billed at Birdland in Manhattan on December 13. No accompanying performers are listed, and the available show information does not say whether Skonberg will appear solo or with a regular or specially assembled group. It also gives no theme, guest appearance, record release, tribute, or other announced focus for the night. The performance takes place in Birdland’s Theater District room, where audiences sit at tables close to the stage, with a full menu and bar available during the music.

Skonberg is clearly identified as the act billed for this date, but the supplied material offers no biographical background, hometown, musical credits, collaborators, recordings, or critical quotations. It does not describe her musical approach or name artists she has played with, so there is no basis here for filling in a career summary. What is established is the booking itself: Birdland, a club with decades of jazz history and a continuing focus on contemporary artists, has scheduled Bria Skonberg for this performance. The available information leaves the particular shape of her set and the personnel onstage to be announced by the venue or revealed in the room.
