It is a focused tour through writers whose songs have remained central to jazz repertory.
Washington, DC natives Peter and Will Anderson are Grammy-winning musicians whom The New York Times called “virtuosos on clarinet & saxophone.” They have headlined at the Blue Note, Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, the New Orleans Jazz Festival and Feinstein’s 54 Below, and appeared live on Garrison Keillor’s Prairie Home Companion. Their playing is heard on the Grammy-winning Boardwalk Empire soundtrack with Vince Giordano’s Nighthawks. Their screen credits also include Revolutionary Road, Killers of the Flower Moon, Boardwalk Empire and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
