Emma Nissen brings her jazz-pop set to City Winery NYC’s Main Stage as part of a multi-show New York series. The evening follows the June 2026 release of Moved, her new album, and comes amid the extensive touring behind it. Nissen became widely noticed for pairing jazz phrasing with Christian songwriting, a combination she calls “Jesus and Jazz”; her viral 2023 reel found her scatting over her song “Breathe.”
The 25-year-old singer has built a large audience online, with her videos surpassing 200 million views. Her rise has drawn recognition from Lauren Daigle, SZA, Meghan Trainor and Queen Latifah, among others. Adam Blackstone, the Emmy and Grammy-winning musician and longtime collaborator of Rihanna, Maroon 5 and Justin Timberlake, invited Nissen to perform with his band at the Blue Note in New York. Blackstone later produced her single and album title track, “Love Like You.” Her recordings have also involved producers Seth Mosley, Nate Pyfer and Stephen Nelson. With a voice the venue calls “timeless,” Nissen is bringing the material from Moved to audiences across North America and Europe.
