The Walls Group brings its family vocal blend to City Winery NYC’s Main Stage on November 20. The billed group consists of siblings Darrel, Rhea, Paco, and Ahjah Walls, whose set moves among gospel, soul, and contemporary R&B. Expect the focus to be on the group’s harmonies, vocal runs, and the stories behind their songs.
The sibling group has spent sixteen years developing its sound and is Grammy-nominated, with multiple Stellar Awards. Their work has brought collaborations with Kirk Franklin and Warryn Campbell, and recordings for Sony and Universal Music Group. They have received four Grammy nominations, a record that frames this appearance as a chance to hear a seasoned vocal group working in close harmony.
City Winery at Pier 57 is a restaurant winery with live music on an intimate stage, offering a full evening experience that combines dinner, wine, and live music. The venue features two performance spaces: a seated 350-seat concert hall and a smaller 150-capacity loft space, with a 100-seat restaurant including a pizza bar and coffee roasting station. Guests enjoy views of the Hudson River and Pier 57, located in Chelsea on Manhattan’s west side, near Chelsea Market.
