Strawberry Fields brings its Ultimate Beatles Brunch Concert to City Winery NYC’s Main Stage for a live, interactive run through the Beatles songbook. The show is built for singing along, with classics including “Hey Jude,” “Let It Be,” and “Come Together” in the set. The group’s performers come from the Broadway and touring companies of Beatlemania, giving the tribute a theatrical as well as musical focus. Brunch is available à la carte during the performance, making this a Sunday afternoon show designed around Beatles standards and audience participation.
Strawberry Fields is a Beatles tribute act whose home base is not specified in the available information. City Winery calls its program the longest-running Beatles Brunch on Broadway, while the group says it previously presented the brunch for 18 consecutive years at B.B. King’s in Times Square. Elsewhere, the act is described as four acclaimed musicians who use costumes, vintage instruments, and period amplification to travel through the Beatles catalogue. Its performances have reached large New York and baseball-stadium stages, including Shea Stadium, Citi Field, Fenway Park, and Yankee Stadium.
