Flozier: The Music of Florence + The Machine and Hozier
54 Below254 W 54th St, New York 10019
Flozier: The Music of Florence + The Machine and Hozier comes to 54 Below for a program focused on the music named in its title. The billing points to a Florence + The Machine and Hozier songbook evening, rather than an appearance by either act. No performers, guest artists, release, residency, tribute details, or other special features are listed. At 54 Below, a nonprofit cabaret venue devoted to live music, the show is presented for a seated listening-room audience, with the performance as the stated focus.
The available bill does not identify an individual performer, band lineup, or curator behind Flozier. What it does identify is its musical frame: a program drawing on the work of Florence + The Machine and Hozier. No further background is provided for the people making the performance, including where they are from, prior collaborations, or critical response. The event is therefore best understood from its title and its host venue: a cabaret presentation dedicated to those two bodies of music.
A nonprofit cabaret venue dedicated to live music, 54 Below is a listening room where audiences gather to experience legendary artists performing in a dedicated space. The atmosphere is elegant and intimate, with a focus on the music and the performers. The room is designed for seated audiences, offering close proximity to the stage, and the experience is centered around the show rather than conversation or drinking. Shows are ticketed and require advance purchase, with a nonprofit mission that supports the arts. The venue has a strong reputation for excellence in theatre, as recognized by a 2022 Tony Award nomination.
