Leo Genovese Trio comes to Ornithology Cafe with Genovese on piano, Francesco Marcocci on bass, and Adam Arruda on drums. The bill presents the three musicians in the classic piano trio format, with the instrumental roles clearly credited for the night. At the Brooklyn café, the performance is part of a nightly live-music program in a seated room where listening is foregrounded. The venue also serves vegan Mediterranean cooking, seasonal dishes and desserts, alongside craft beer and natural wine, so the evening can combine a full set of music with dinner or a drink.
The act is billed as the Leo Genovese Trio, led here by pianist Leo Genovese and completed by Marcocci and Arruda. The available event details identify the ensemble through this specific piano, bass and drums lineup, rather than naming a larger group or additional guest performers. That instrumentation leaves the trio itself as the focus: Genovese at the piano, Marcocci supplying the bass part, and Arruda on drums. No record release, tribute, residency, late set, or other special program is named for this appearance.
Cafe Ornithology offers a unique blend of live jazz performances paired with vegan Mediterranean cuisine in a warmly decorated space that invites you to settle in and savor both sound and flavor. The venue features a bar serving craft beers and natural wines, complementing the soulful music that fills the room nightly. Seating is available, encouraging attentive listening rather than casual mingling, making it a place to truly engage with the artists. The walls are adorned with art and plants, creating a relaxed yet focused environment. Shows are ticketed and the kitchen serves vibrant seasonal dishes alongside desserts, ensuring your evening is as nourishing as it is entertaining. This spot captures a slice of Brooklyn’s rich cultural fabric, where music and mindful dining come together seamlessly.
