Keyon Harrold brings his music to Blue Note, with the lineup for this date unannounced. An award-winning trumpeter, vocalist, songwriter and producer, Harrold moves across jazz, Afrobeat, soul, spoken word, hip-hop, blues, rock and American folk.
Born in Ferguson, Missouri and now based in New York City, Harrold gained international attention as the trumpet voice in Miles Ahead. His collaborators include Common, Robert Glasper, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Nas, Maxwell, Erykah Badu, D’Angelo, Keith Richards and Black Pumas. The Guardian calls his work “genre-defying post-bop,” while Jazzwise praises his “broad, warm tone and excellent articulation.”
Blue Note Jazz Club is a dedicated listening room in the heart of Manhattan's jazz district, where the music is the focus and the space is designed to let the sound fill the room.
