Joshua Radin with Kathryn Gallager
City Winery NYCHudson River Park Esplanade, New York 10014
Joshua Radin closes a special tour with the second of two City Winery New York City shows, joined by Kathryn Gallagher. Radin brings songs from a catalog that includes We Were Here, Simple Times, Underwater, Wax Wings, and Here, Right Now, as well as his newest album, One Day Home, whose songs explore love, reflection, and personal growth through soulful arrangements and piano-driven performances. Gallagher arrives with ALL GOOD MEN, a five-song EP framed as a confessional account of shedding people-pleasing instincts, with its narrative moving from rupture through aftermath to hard-won clarity.
Radin emerged in 2004 and has built a twenty-plus-year career as a folk songwriter and storyteller. His recordings have passed one billion streams, his single “I’d Rather Be With You” is gold certified, and his music has appeared in more than 200 films, television series, and commercials. He has shared stages with Ed Sheeran, Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson, Sheryl Crow, and Tori Amos. Gallagher says ALL GOOD MEN is “loudly, angrily, and without apology” her own story. Produced by Ella Vos and mixed by Tommy English, the EP uses roaring guitars and live drums; Gallagher describes reconnecting with the rock and roll she loved at 15, naming the Stones, Bonnie Raitt, Dylan, and Janis Joplin among the music she grew up on.
