Fruition bring Something More: The Final Tour to Le Poisson Rouge, with Handmade Moments also on the bill. The Portland five-piece are touring behind their eighth studio album, Something More, released through Bloodshot Records and produced by Tucker Martine. This run is scheduled as the band’s farewell to touring, with dates continuing into January 2027. Expect the collaborative, song-led roots sound that has long centered their stacked vocal harmonies, spanning rock, soul, folk and pop.
Fruition began busking on Portland street corners and has spent more than 15 years building its audience. Jay Cobb Anderson, Kellen Asebroek and Mimi Naja share singing and songwriting duties, joined by bassist Jeff Leonard and drummer Tyler Thompson. Their approach carries acoustic string-band roots alongside a more electric folk-rock side, and they have shared stages with CAAMP, The Wood Brothers, Jack Johnson and John Craigie. Management highlights their “soaring three-part harmonies,” while Rolling Stone called the group’s originals “raucous,” with “heartfelt lyrics and stadium-worthy energy.” Americana Highways heard Something More as a showcase for “three strong songwriters” and “a whole lot of instinctive talent.”
Le Poisson Rouge offers a versatile space where artistry meets nightlife, with a capacity of around 700 and a modular stage that adapts to diverse performances. The venue blends seated classical concerts with standing rock or DJ sets, creating a dynamic flow throughout the evening. Its design, by Walters-Storyk Design Group, ensures excellent acoustics and sightlines, allowing you to catch every detail from the front row to the back. The adjacent Gallery Bar provides a quieter spot with a small stage, perfect for more intimate moments. Expect a night that can shift from focused listening to lively dancing, with a full bar available but no full restaurant. Shows are ticketed, and buying ahead is recommended. The venue’s rich programming spans classical, indie, jazz, and more, reflecting its founders’ vision to fuse popular and art cultures in a single vibrant setting.
