Stacey Kent
Birdland315 West 44th Street, New York 10036
Stacey Kent is billed at Birdland in Manhattan for this December 17 appearance. The available event information names no other performers, so it does not establish whether Kent will appear with a regular band, a pickup group, or another accompaniment. Nor does it describe a theme, record release, guest appearance, tribute, or late-program feature. What is clear is a ticketed Birdland set in the club’s Theater District room, where listeners sit at tables close to the stage and the focus is on the music.
The supplied search material identifies Kent as an American jazz singer and says that the TicketWeb description mentions her collaborations. It does not name those collaborators, identify a hometown beyond the United States, or provide details of her repertoire, recordings, or career. No reviewer quotation or critical assessment is included in the material. For this date, the firmest picture is therefore of Kent as the featured vocalist, with the musical personnel and program left unspecified at Birdland.
