Birdland315 West 44th Street, New York 10036

Frankie Moreno brings his TRIO show to Birdland, leading from vocals and piano with his brother Tony Moreno on bass and his son Giovanni Moreno on drums. The family trio will play new arrangements of Moreno’s biggest hits and fan favorites, framing his rock ’n’ roll repertoire in a compact three-piece setting. It is a chance to hear a performer associated with large concert halls and Las Vegas residencies in Birdland’s focused club room.

Moreno first appeared to American audiences at age 10 on CBS’s Star Search and later performed his own “Tangerine Honey” on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. A pianist and multi-instrumentalist, he has made records with violinist Joshua Bell: At Home With Friends, which reached No. 1 on Billboard, included Sting, Josh Groban, Chris Botti, Kristin Chenoweth and Regina Spektor; their later Musical Gifts featured Plácido Domingo, Gloria Estefan, Alison Krauss and Chick Corea. Moreno has toured the United States with Sugarland and Billy Currington, served as Air Supply’s musical director on a world tour, and wrote the group’s Billboard Top 40 single “Dance with Me.”

Birdland offers a refined jazz experience in a room where the audience sits at tables close to the stage, allowing every note to reach you clearly. The venue features a full menu with dishes like New Orleans-style gumbo alongside a well-stocked bar, making it easy to enjoy a meal or drinks while listening. Each show is ticketed per set, encouraging focused listening as the music unfolds in roughly 45-minute segments. The club’s walls echo decades of jazz history, having hosted legends and continuing to attract top contemporary artists. Located in Manhattan’s Theater District, the space balances a serious music environment with the energy of a night out, where attentive audiences savor the performances without distraction. Booking ahead is essential, as the club fills quickly for its celebrated lineup.
