Fleur Seule calls itself “Manhattan’s very own retro jazz band,” led by Briggs, known as “The Glamour Girl of Jazz.” Its repertoire reaches from the 1920s through the 1970s and across seven languages, encompassing classic chanson, jazz standards, swing, bossa nova and salsa. The band has performed at Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center and the Kravis Center, and holds an 11-year residency at Tavern on the Green; its profile also notes sold-out appearances at Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola. Fleur Seule’s lineup can range from two to 13 pieces, though the configuration for this show has not been announced. BroadwayWorld praised Briggs directly: “Briggs’ vocal instrument is beautiful beyond compare.”
