Tooth Lifeless is an Atlanta-based performance art collective. Punitive Worm is the Los Angeles-based collaborative project of multidisciplinary artists and partners Nikki Ochoa and Mas Guerrero, an experimental performance entity rooted in live improvisational sound. Its work combines sound, elaborate costuming and raw energetic expressionism, ranging from duo performances to ensembles of 20 or more players.
The 2220 Arts + Archives lounge and theater is a volunteer-run cultural center in a converted theater space, hosting experimental music, film, and literature. The room is a modest, intimate space with a stage and seating for a small audience, where the front row is close enough to feel the energy of the performers. The bar is open for 21+ events, offering drinks to accompany the music and conversation. Shows typically begin with doors opening 30-45 minutes early, and the venue operates as a programming cooperative, curating events that reflect its mission of non-commercial, adventurous arts.
