Craig Richey & Friends Holiday Show - LATE SHOW
El Cid4212 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles 90029
Craig Richey & Friends bring their Hope & Light Holiday Show to El Cid for a late set benefiting Project Angel Food’s Annual Toy Drive. Audience members are invited to bring an unwrapped gift for a child aged 0 to 18.
A North Carolina native now based in Los Angeles, Richey is a singer-songwriter and film composer whose annual Christmas shows feature his original holiday songs. His work also includes songs heard in films such as Girl on a Bicycle, Lovely and Amazing, Friends with Money and The King of Kong.
El Cid pairs live entertainment with a long-running Spanish dining and flamenco tradition: the venue’s own history traces its entertainment roots to 1925, while its restaurant dates its present Spanish identity to 1962. The historic interior is described as a Spanish tavern, with dark wood beams, brick and tile, and winding staircases; patios offer a place to eat before the show. A full restaurant serves tapas and entrees, including paella and gambas, and the bar serves drinks. The events calendar lists concerts and parties, while flamenco remains a defining part of the programme. Check the listing for your show’s ticket and seating details, since the available information does not establish a single format for every event. El Cid’s current site gives its address as 4212 W Sunset Blvd in Silver Lake.
