Ben Dunnill

Ben Dunnill is the sole performer listed for this Gold-Diggers date in East Hollywood. The evening presents the Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist on his own billing, with the venue describing a performer who works from an unusually deep repertoire: more than 5,000 songs committed to memory. Gold-Diggers is a 175-capacity room built for showcase performances, with a sound system intended to keep the focus on the music. This is a 21+ event.

Dunnill is a Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose calling card, according to the listing, is a “timeless, gravel-and-silk voice” and an extensive mental songbook learned entirely by heart. The listing says he does not simply play music but “commands it,” framing his sets around vocal presence, musicianship, and the ability to draw on thousands of memorized songs. His top track on the event page is “Many Men (Jazz Version),” a title that points to jazz as one documented part of his recorded work. No supporting artists, collaborators, hometown beyond Canada, or press reviews are identified in the available event information.
