Marc Scibilia performs as a solo singer-songwriter, bringing a songbook that spans folk, pop and rock, with soulful, country-leaning and anthemic-pop touches.
Originally from Buffalo, New York, Scibilia moved to Nashville after high school. He is known for the Gold-certified “Unforgettable,” made with Robin Schulz, and his cover of “This Land Is Your Land,” heard in a Jeep Renegade Super Bowl commercial. He has toured with John Oates, Zac Brown Band, James Bay, ZZ Ward and Sixpence None the Richer; producer Butch Walker praised his songs for their “heart and emotion and meaning” alongside “a pop hook.”
El Rey’s distinction is written into its room: a 1936 Art Deco movie palace, still dressed with chandeliers and velvet, now used for live concerts. The theatre became a music venue in 1994, so a night here pairs a preserved historic interior with a working concert hall. Expect general-admission standing on the main floor unless your show’s ticket details say otherwise; some performances offer VIP table seating in the balcony. Doors typically open an hour before showtime, and support acts may be added closer to the date, so check the event listing before heading over. The venue has cashless concessions, and its FAQ points guests to a neighboring restaurant for a bite. It remains an active venue on Wilshire Boulevard in Miracle Mile.
