Alligator Beach brings its New Orleans-flavored funk party to Harvelle's Santa Monica. The Los Angeles band mixes New Orleans standards, originals and familiar songs, drawing on touchstones including The Meters, the Neville Brothers, Maceo Parker and Aretha Franklin.
Rooted in Hermosa Beach, Alligator Beach is a 6 to 8-piece dance band with rhythm section, horns and singer. Its members have performed and recorded with artists including Etta James, Bette Midler, Rod Stewart, Eurythmics, Tom Petty and Dr. John; bandleader Lance Keller has called the music “a fun, funky, good time.”
Harvelle's Santa Monica is a live music venue with a full bar and food menu, offering a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy a show and a drink. The space is intimate, with a small stage and audience seating that allows close proximity to the performers.
