JORDAN PROFFER - 9:00pm - 12:00AM
Rhythm Room LA206 West 6th Street, Los Angeles 90014
Rhythm Room LA bills Jordan Proffer for its November 19 program in Downtown Los Angeles. No additional performers are named on the available bill, and no listing copy describes the musical formation, repertoire, guest artists, release, tribute, residency, or other theme for the night. The performance takes place in the venue’s basement lounge, where live music shares the room with a curved bar, ping-pong, pool, darts, and board games. Exposed brick, concrete pillars, couches, barstools, and salvaged stadium seats shape the setting around the performance area.
No biographical material or search result is available here to establish Jordan Proffer’s hometown, musical background, collaborators, recordings, or critical reception. The available information identifies the act by name on Rhythm Room LA’s calendar, but does not provide the details needed to characterize Proffer’s sound or previous work. That leaves this as a calendar-billed appearance rather than a documented showcase of a particular project, ensemble, or body of material. For listeners deciding on the night, the confirmed information is simply that Proffer is the named act at a Downtown room whose evening can also include drinks, food, games, and conversation alongside the music.
Rhythm Room LA brings live music into a basement lounge built around games and a curved bar, so an evening can move between the band, a drink, and a round of ping-pong or pool. The entrance descends an original marble staircase, and the room’s exposed brick, concrete pillars, couches, barstools, and salvaged stadium seats give it a distinctly timeworn look. There is a full bar and a kitchen serving small bites, alongside darts and board games. The calendar lists late-evening performances, including sets beginning around 9 or 9:30, and some events run past midnight; expect a social night where conversation and games share space with the music. The venue is listed at 206 West 6th Street in Downtown Los Angeles, and current listings show it operating.
