Emmaline brings her Be My Valentine Tour to The Mint: a modern-retro Valentine’s show built around original love songs and genre-bending covers of romantic classics.
The Nashville-based vocalist, violinist and songwriter has been recognized by Spotify as Best Vocal Jazz of 2023 and has opened for Chaka Khan and Kenny G. Her credits also include playing jazz singer Jeanne Staples in Sweetwater and singing “Down Home Blues” with Gary Clark Jr. on the film’s soundtrack.
A stage where Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, and Natalie Cole once broke, The Mint is a Mid-City club with a long-standing reputation for live music. The room holds about 300 standing guests with a few seats, offering a close view of the stage. The atmosphere is lively with a full bar, tapas-style food, and a dance floor.
