FREE SHOW: LIE FOR FUN / LIONEER / PUSHING VERONICA / ADOPT A DOG
LIE FOR FUN, LIONEER, PUSHING VERONICA, ADOPT A DOG
Lie For Fun heads to Transplants Brewing on a current West Coast run, with Lioneer, Pushing Veronica and Adopt A Dog also on the bill. The listing presents the night as a free show, led by Lie For Fun’s return to the Palmdale venue. It is a four-act program in Transplants Brewing’s dedicated performance room, connected to the brewery taproom.
Lie For Fun is a Las Vegas pop-punk and alternative band. The group describes itself on Facebook as a “Pop-punk/alternative band from Las Vegas, NV,” while its SoundCloud calls it a “Pop-punk band from Vegas!” The available information identifies the band and its hometown, but does not establish its lineup, collaborators, particular releases or critical reception.
Transplants Brewing pairs its own inventive beers and otherworldly art with a dedicated room for live performances, giving a show night a distinctly brewery-made backdrop. In Palmdale’s industrial area, you can start in the taproom among custom murals, then move into the connected music hall, where a second bar lets you keep a drink close without leaving the performance. The lineup ranges from touring bands to comedy, drag, burlesque and wrestling, so check the event listing for the specific night’s format and ticket details. There is no in-house kitchen; food trucks rotate through, with schedules posted alongside events. The brewery’s current site lists regular opening hours and a live calendar, making it an operating spot where a concert can be part of a broader evening out.
