Durti-Ryce feat. Deron (R&B & Soul)

Durti-Ryce comes to Catalina Jazz Club with featured guest Deron for a live R&B and soul program built around tribute-band performance. The group pays homage to the legends, with other event descriptions specifically naming Frankie Beverly and Maze as its focus. Expect a set shaped by soulful vocals, smooth grooves and rhythm-forward songs, delivered by a collective rather than a billed solo artist. This is an all-ages show in Catalina’s dinner-club listening room, where the performance is the point of the evening.

Durti-Ryce identifies itself as a tribute band, a collective of exceptionally talented artists and musicians united by “a vision and passion for soulful R&B music.” Available information does not name the group’s hometown, full personnel or instrumentation, so this appearance is best approached as a celebration of a songbook and musical tradition rather than a showcase for a fixed lineup. Its recurring descriptions emphasize paying homage to R&B greats, while the Frankie Beverly and Maze connection gives the project a clear musical anchor. No press reviews or documented collaborations are included in the available material, but the act’s own framing is direct: soulful R&B is the shared purpose of the collective.
