Greg Adams leads East Bay Soul, an expansive ensemble built around horns, lead vocals and rhythm section, at Spaghettini.
A founding member of Tower of Power, trumpeter and arranger Adams draws on the soul-based tradition of San Francisco's East Bay, blending funk jazz, R&B and soul. His horn arrangements have figured in work with artists including Elton John, Santana, Rod Stewart, Madonna, Ray Charles and Luther Vandross. Music Connection called the group's sound “remarkably authentic vintage-soul,” while The Hollywood 360 noted polished funk, scorching solos and energetic ensemble playing.
Spaghettini is a well-established Italian supper club where live jazz fills the air, blending with conversation and the clink of glasses. The intimate lounge setting, with warm lighting and close-to-the-stage seating, creates a polished yet comfortable atmosphere. Guests enjoy a refined menu featuring modern Northern Italian cuisine, including Chilean sea bass and classic pasta, paired with an award-winning wine list and craft cocktails. The experience unfolds over dinner or brunch, with live music every Wednesday through Sunday, and the famous Smooth Jazz Sunday Brunch. It's a destination for both music lovers and food enthusiasts, offering a well-rounded evening that feels complete from start to finish.
