Royal Oakie’s US Showcase Tour brings three separate singer-songwriter projects to Gold-Diggers: Mia Wilson, Haylie Davis and Georgia Gets By. The listing presents the night as a showcase rather than a joint band performance, with no shared musical formation specified. Wilson’s self-titled debut album is also part of the evening’s context: it was produced by Tim Ramsey, whose credits include Vetiver, Little Wings and Kacey Johansing.

Wilson is a Southern California singer-songwriter whose work combines piano and guitar compositions, orchestral arrangements, introspective writing and a mezzo-soprano voice; a review called her vocals “faultless.” Raised in Northern California and now Los Angeles-based, Davis draws from Laurel Canyon folk-pop, country and folk, and has worked with Drugdealer, Sylvie, Alex Amen and Sam Burton. Rolling Stone heard “a cross between Emmylou Harris and the cult psychedelic folk singer Linda Perhacs.” Georgia Gets By is Georgia Nott’s solo project. Nott is from Nelson, New Zealand, and is also one half of BROODS, who toured internationally and opened for Taylor Swift, HAIM, Ellie Goulding and Sam Smith. Her solo work brings folk influence together with electronic and dream-pop elements; Atwood Magazine called her debut “breathtaking” and “cathartic.”

Gold-Diggers offers a distinctive blend of a bar, music venue, and dance floor, where the room holds about 175 people, creating a space that feels lively yet focused on the music. The interior features disco-ball chandeliers and a touch of seedy glamour that nods to its storied past, setting a scene that’s both raw and celebratory. The sound system is state of the art, designed to deliver showcase-quality performances that range from rock and roll to all-vinyl DJ sets and surprise shows. The crowd is drawn by an ever-changing lineup curated by music enthusiasts, making each night a chance to discover fresh talent or enjoy familiar favorites. Classic cocktails are served at the bar, encouraging mingling and dancing well into the early hours, with the venue open nightly from 7pm to 2am.
