MDC heads a four-band punk bill at Bar 10 in Corbin Bowl, presented by Jon Vang and Covert Booking. The evening also features No Consent, Public Nuisance, and Cease Fire. It brings together a long-running punk name, an early Los Angeles hardcore presence, and two Southern California bands from Big Bear Lake and Simi Valley. The show takes place in the bowling alley’s bar and grill, where the stage sits alongside the venue’s food, drinks, lanes, and arcade.
MDC formed in Texas in 1981 under Dave Dictor and is now based in Portland, Oregon. The band is described as an American punk rock classic, known for high-energy songs and far-left socio-political ideology; its initials have shifted across releases, including Multi Death Corporation, Millions of Dead Children, Millions of Damn Christians, and Millions of Dead Cops. No Consent formed in 2019, regrouping in 2020 with lead guitarist Carlos Cervantes alongside vocalist and guitarist Tyler Womack, bassist Cody Kilburger, and drummer Shane Anderson; its guiding idea is “No Consent To Injustice,” and it released the EP Bastard Nation. Sylmar’s Public Nuisance formed in 1981 and played with Suicidal Tendencies, Bad Religion, Circle Jerks, Dead Kennedys, NOFX, Bad Brains, G.B.H., Discharge, and others. Cease Fire comes from Simi Valley.
Bar 10 brings live music into Corbin Bowl, the San Fernando Valley bowling alley that has served the community since 1959, so a show can be part of a night that also includes lanes, food and drinks. The venue’s own site describes a renovated bar and grill with a stage, a full bar, and weekly music alongside comedy and open-mic events. Corbin Cafe serves meals and shareable food, making it easy to eat there rather than arrive just for the set. Show formats and prices vary: the calendar has listed both free events and ticketed bills, with some shows featuring several bands. Check the event listing for doors, start time and admission details. Bar 10 remains active at Corbin Bowl in Tarzana, with shows listed into October 2026.
